so for anybody that knows me knows how much I love USU basketball. I pretty much live for it...especially when I'm stuck up here at school. (ps. I am SO sick of girls who go just to look for boys. You know, the ones who don't cheer because they think they're just too good for it? Yeah ya know what just GET OUT.) Ok, sorry I'm done with that now, just had to get it off my chest. Alright so anyways this weekend was the USU BYU game down in Salt Lake. Don't EVEN get me started on why it was down there, all I can say is that coward Dave Rose is too much of a wuss to come play at the Spectrum. He knows they have no shot up here. That being said it was a crazy intense and fabulous game. A few friends and I went down Saturday morning and went shopping at the Gateway. We got a free family suite at a hotel right in downtown. Yes, that's right FREE. So we spent our weekend in the hot tub, shopping, and seeing the lights at Temple Square...instead of studying for finals. Yeah, great idea I know. Anyways, it was so much fun. The game was full of AMAZING signs which sadly I could not get good pictures of. :( But the whole weekend was fantastic. I had my last final yesterday so I'm finally officially done, it's great. I'm just so ready to be home. I love Christmas and I can't wait to get everything done. At least I already took care of my roomies, so now I just need to take care of my dad and Rob and Jessica, plus a few of my best friends I suppose. I've done everything else I'm pretty sure so that is a relief. We've been taking tons of pictures, but since blogger hates me they keep getting deleted, but there is a few here, so enjoy!

"It was one of the funnest atmospheres I've ever been in," said USU wing Tyler Newbold. "That's what college basketball is all about.

Apparently, your own team members liked playing in Energy Solutions Arena. The decision to play in SLC was OK by BOTH teams, and it was a good one. More fans and a better atmosphere. Just face it, you came up short in a hard-fought game; no shame in that. It was well-played on both sides.
