but I had to do it. I mean this is something that I've been trying to figure out since I was in elementary school. Finally someone is shedding some light on the subject. :) Rock//Paper//Scissors.
I understand that scissors can beat paper, and I get how rock can beat scissors, but there's no freaking way paper can beat rock. Paper is supposed to magically "wrap around" rock, leaving it immobile? Why the heck can't paper do this to scissors? Actually, screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody. A rock would tear that up in about 2 seconds. When I play rock//paper//scissors, I always choose rock. Then, when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist and say, "Oh crap, I'm sorry, I thought paper would protect you."
This just made me laugh so hard, not to mention it makes a very good point. One that I absolutely agree with.
But anyways moving on, we've been heading out to the lake a lot lately. Unfortunately I'm a retard and did not charge the battery for my camera so I have like zero pictures. :( I will however have tons more this weekend because we are of course going back! I've always loved being on the water so I'm glad we are FINALLY doing that more. I've really missed it. Before we got this boat I'd only ever water skied, (spelling?) but I decided to try wakeboarding for the first time, against probably most of my better judgment. But all is well because I did it! It is a lot of fun so now I can do both with no problems...well at least for now. We'll see how long the beginner's luck actually lasts on me. :)
